Center for Metanoia Studies (Centre d'Etudes Interdisciplinaires de la Métanoïa)

Elyamine Settoul is a senior lecturer and director of the ‘Defence and Society’ department. His work is centred on ethnicity, immigration, prejudice, military sociology,  and the MENA region. He founded the Radicalization Prevention Specialized Certificate at the Criminology Chair of the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in Paris. He has published numerous articles on military sociology and co-edited two books in 2022: Radicalization in Theory and Practice and Penser la radicalisation djihadiste.
