What does it mean for a person to change? Under what conditions does such change occur? What are the private and public ethical implications of personal transformation? What is the legitimate role of the state in relation to individual and collective projects of moral transformation?”
The Center for Metanoia Studies is an ambitious project designed to respond to questions such as these. Through a multidisciplinary approach, the Center is dedicated to exploring processes of personal and collective transformation in different contexts, in order to provide theoretical and practical solutions regarding the management of change. By supporting innovative research, hosting thought-provoking meetings, disseminating ideas through media old and new, organising educational programmes, and engaging with the world of practice, the Center for Metanoia Studies is an open laboratory for the study of personal transformation.
